To analyse data NORTHERN PI needs an input in plain txt format.
There are 3 ways to provide data:

np_datasource

1)

np_datasource2

This is a built-in generator for the number PI. It is an easy way to check out what NORTHERN PI can do.
Remember: The spigit algorithm is not very fast. Calculating 100.000 digits or more can be very time consuming...

Once you have calculated the pi sequence, use the “Save Data to File” button.
So a further quick reload via “Input From File” will be possible.

2)

np_datasource3

This is a built-in generator for random sequences much faster as the spigot algorithm.
Use “Save Data to File” and “File List” to repeat any analysis with exactly the same random numbers.

3)

np_datasource4

FILE LIST method: Use external data by adding it to the File List.
This operation is limited by memory amount. You should be able to load about
400.000.000 bytes without any problem. Blank characters and new line/line breaks can be skipped when reading from file.
